U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is seeking an Overnight Non-CDL Driver for our Landover, Maryland location.

The role supports local deliveries to job sites, materials transfer from the Central Distribution Center, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations. The position is full-time with an overnight schedule (9:00pm–5:30am). Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, be able to operate a 26-foot box truck, and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment.
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Strong independence and self-motivation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer service experience and driving experience.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of customers and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from Central Distribution Center and transfer to branch.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicle safety and daily maintenance; ensure proper loading and driver logs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and complete all paperwork.
• Inform dispatcher of problems or delays during routes.
• Prepare logs and secure customer signatures for deliveries.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damages.
• Notify management of route issues or delays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Landover, Maryland.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: OVERNIGHT 9:00pm-5:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
