Qualifications

• Independent, reliable worker with strong customer service skills.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Experience driving and delivering to job sites and customers.
• Excellent communication with all levels of customers, 21+.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries safely and professionally to customers.
• Pickup material from Central Distribution Center and transfer to branch.
• Complete local job-site deliveries and maintain logs.
• Inspect vehicle daily for safety and maintenance; report defects.
• Comply with DOT regulations and complete required paperwork.
• Notify dispatcher of delays or problems during routes.
• Prepare logs and collect customer signatures for deliveries.
• Support management with route issues and other duties.

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Lancaster, PA

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
• Must be strongly independent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
