Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated front desk auditor to manage daily front office audits across all hotel outlets. You will ensure room and tax postings are accurate, handle check-ins and check-outs, and support guest operations with speed and courtesy.

The role requires strict adherence to accounting policies, timely software backups, and basic maintenance of the front office system.

Responsibilities

• Perform all daily audit functions for front office and each hotel outlet.
• Review room and tax postings for accuracy; correct errors and ensure charges post timely.
• Back up front office computer system and night audit program daily.
• Rebuild front office system, reservations, and related software maintenance.
• Follow the management company’s accounting and credit policies and procedures.
• Oversee front desk duties: check-ins/outs, payments, reservations, PBX; answer calls within 3 rings.

Job description

• Perform all daily audit functions for front office and each outlet of the hotel.
• Review room and tax posting on computer or register for accuracy, immediately correcting any errors. Ensure all house charges are posted accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Complete back-up of front office computer system and night audit program daily (if applicable).
• Complete the rebuild of the front office system, reservation and other related computer maintenance (if applicable).
• Understand, know and follow management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all front desk functions including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, PBX operation, answering calls within 3 rings, etc. Guests should be treated promptly, warmly, courteously and professionally. Accurate and clear directions to room locations should be given.
