Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech I (PRN) to perform EEG, Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction Studies, and intraoperative monitoring.

The role supports the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with overnight 12-hour shifts, 6p–6:30a, providing accurate data and patient-focused care. The candidate should have a diploma, EEG curriculum training, BLS, and the ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Two years of college or equivalent preferred.
• Neurodiagnostic program graduate or completion of ASET EEG Curriculum required.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain physiologic data from the nervous system and report results.
• Correct artifacts and calibrate equipment for quality data.
• Explain procedures to patients and families; assist with scheduling as needed.
• Prepare reports and maintain logs; manage EPIC charges and records.
