Job summary

UChicago Medicine in Chicago is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Specialist I to work independently in the Pediatric Epilepsy Center. This role involves preparing patients for AV/EEG monitoring, performing NCVs, and managing EEG data. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of experience in neurodiagnostic procedures, CPR certification, and ASET competency skills. Full-time position with night shifts at Comer Children’s Hospital, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of ASET online course LTM 100 for EMU personnel.
• CPR certification in basic cardiac life support (BLS) required.
• Four years performing neurodiagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage EEG abnormalities as per SOP.
• Alert medical staff for studies needing urgent attention.
• Maintain and troubleshoot monitoring equipment.
