Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech I for the Epilepsy Center. Responsibilities include conducting EEGs, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, and intraoperative monitoring, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The role requires strong communication with families, data interpretation, equipment management, and adherence to neurodiagnostic protocols, in a collaborative hospital setting.

Formación

• High school diploma required; two years of college or equivalent preferred, or 1–2 years EEG experience preferred.
• Neurodiagnostic program graduate or completion of ASET EEG Curriculum required.
• Registration preferred in EEG (R. EEG T.) or Evoked Potentials (R. EP T.) by ABRET or R.NCS.T. by AAET.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain physiologic data from the nervous system and analyze/report results.
• Recognize and correct artifacts; calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Explain test procedures to patients and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare reports, maintain logs, and manage EPIC charges and database records.
