Job summary

Western Tidewater Community Service Board is seeking an Overnight Mobile Crisis Services Manager for our Mobile Crisis Program. This role leads a team of licensed and bachelor-level clinicians to respond to individuals in acute crisis and to coordinate stabilization and prevention services.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a human services field, Virginia licensure preferences, and at least five years of clinical experience with behavior health populations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related Human Services Field (preferred)
• Virginia licensure as a practicing counselor, clinical social worker, clinical psychologist or board certified analyst preferred
• Five years of clinical experience in a behavioral health facility, residential or community setting
• One year as a senior clinician or higher supervisory role in a behavioral health setting
• Minimum of one year experience with the ID/DD population
• Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV record at hire and thereafter

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise a dynamic team of clinicians capable of responding to individuals in acute crisis
• Coordinate Crisis Stabilization and Crisis Prevention services
• Facilitate collaboration with community partners, families, and other supports to improve access to care
• Daily oversight of assigned programs and services including responding to critical incidents and service billing

We are seeking Overnight Mobile Crisis Services Manager for our Mobile Crisis Program

Responsibilities and Duties for Overnight Mobile Crisis Services Manager :

• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise a dynamic team composed of Licensed, Licensed Eligible, and Bachelor's level clinicians who are capable of responding to individuals with mental health disorders and are in an acute crisis
• Coordinate Crisis Stabilization and Crisis Prevention services
• Facilitate collaboration with community partners, families, and other natural supports to improve access to care
• Daily oversight of assigned programs and services to including responding to critical incidents, ensuring effective program operation and service billing

Qualifications and Skills for a Overnight Mobile Crisis Services Manager :

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related Human Services Field. Preferred
• Virginia Licensure as a Practicing Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist or Board Certified Analyst Preferred
• Five years of clinical experience in a behavior health facility, residential or community setting including experience working with children & adults with behavior disorders
• One (1) year experience as a senior clinician or higher supervisory role in a behavioral health setting and/or demonstrated leadership in those areas
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with the ID/DD population.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable DMV record at time of hire and continuously thereafter
