Job summary

Easterseals NJ in Warren County is seeking a Mental Health Residential Counselor for the overnight shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM), Monday–Friday. You will support individuals living with mental illness and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals in a structured residential program.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in mental health or related field, or an equivalent combination of college and life/work experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health or Human Services or equivalent.
• Combination of college plus 4 years related life/work experience acceptable.
• High School or GED with 4 years related work/life experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support consumers in achieving measurable outcomes addressing care challenges.
• Adhere to AMHRS standards.
• Respond promptly to complaints and grievances to ensure satisfaction.
• Educate and monitor medications, log updates, and monthly audits.
• Coordinate supportive services based on consumer needs.
• Provide services per IRPs with high quality.
• Document services accurately within required timeframes.
