Job Summary

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. They will also handle closing responsibilities for the shift and preparing an accurate bank deposit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Handle all front desk activities including:
   1. Answer phones and assist callers.
   2. Check members into the system.
   3. Sign up new members.
   4. Give tours to prospective members.
3. Update members’ accounts as needed.
4. Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and escalate to the manager if necessary.
5. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
6. Close the shift by balancing the cash drawer, generating daily reports, and verifying entries.
7. Prepare the bank deposit for the next day.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Customer service experience preferred.
2. Basic computer skills.
3. Passion for fitness and health.

10. Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

1. Stand and walk continuously during shift.
2. Talk in person and on the phone throughout the shift.
3. Work overnight shifts.
4. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: $10.00 per hour
