Job Summary

The Overnight Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. The Overnight Closer will also handle closing the shift for that business day and preparing an accurate bank deposit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Handle all front desk activities including:
   • Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
   • Check members into the system.
   • Sign up new members.
   • Guide prospective members on tours.
3. Update members’ accounts as needed.
4. Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
5. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
6. Close the shift for the business day.
7. Prepare the bank deposit for the next day.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Positive and upbeat attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good listening skills with empathy and problem-solving abilities.
• Diplomatic behavior and appropriate language use.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk continually during shifts.
• Speak frequently in person and on the phone.
• Ability to work overnight shifts (3rd shift).
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to chemicals.

Compensation: $16.50 per hour
