Job summary

HealthPartners’ Hudson Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist / MLS / MLT to join the Laboratory team. This role performs clinical lab testing across multiple disciplines with emphasis on accurate, timely reporting and troubleshooting.

Work requires maintaining safety, quality control, and documentation in a fast-paced hospital setting. Overnight shifts with a 7-on/7-off schedule offer a chance to contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT) or MLS/CLS/MLT by a national board (ASCP, AMT)
• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Responsibilities

• Collect lab specimens and evaluate their acceptability
• Complete required laboratory documentation
• Follow procedures for processing, testing, and reporting patient results
• Maintain quality control and instrument calibrations
• Identify issues affecting test performance and escalate as needed
