Job summary

Hudson Hospital & Clinic, part of HealthPartners, is hiring a Medical Technologist/MLS/MLT. The role performs diverse clinical lab testing, ensures timely reporting, and troubleshoots issues while maintaining safety and quality across multiple disciplines.

The position requires relevant degrees and certification, on-site work with overnight shifts, and a strong commitment to patient care. Competitive benefits accompany a 0.5 FTE+ schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• BS in Medical Laboratory Science or related field preferred.
• ASCP or AMT certification required or equivalent.
• ASCP/AMT certification recognized for MT/MLS/MLT paths.

Responsibilities

• Collect lab specimens and evaluate acceptability.
• Complete required laboratory documentation and records.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling and test reporting.
• Maintain quality control, calibrations, and instrument maintenance.
• Identify issues affecting test performance and escalate as needed.
• Apply knowledge across Immunohematology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and Phlebotomy.
