Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Hazardous Material Handler in Commerce City, CO. The role is contract to hire with post-training shifts on 2nd or 3rd shift, offering pay starting at $25.00/hour and additional shift differentials for after-hours work.

Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and transporting waste materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year in related operations, with ability to work outdoors and use basic computer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, industrial, oil & gas, transloading, or airport ramp operations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to safety.

• Load and unload drums, totes, trailers, and tankers.
• Perform container cleaning and decontamination.
• Complete manifests and operational documentation.
• Support waste handling, storage, and facility operations.

Shift Opportunities (After Training - must be able to train on morning shift for 3 months)

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (+$1.00/hr shift differential)

• 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM (+$2.00/hr shift differential)

What You'll Do

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
