Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the overnight shift at our Chillicothe, Ohio facility. You will run pumps, agitators, scales, and viscosity measurements, ensuring safe, efficient operation of the production line.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 3 years in industrial manufacturing, plus solid computer skills. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, follow SOPs, and work 10:30pm to 7:00am with weekend overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to operate computer-controlled equipment.
• Comfortable with hazardous materials and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Run all required equipment in a safe and efficient manner: Pumps/ Agitators/ Shakers, Scales, Viscosity measurements, Daily scale calibrations, Housekeeping.
• Wash equipment (tanks, pumps, piping and loading equipment).
• Load (charge) various size tanks from 5 to 500-gallon capacity.
• Load moving and lifting gallon stock, drums and totes.
• Follow SOPs and monitor equipment; operate computer-controlled equipment.
• Label containers, respect DOT requirements; audit and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist training of other employees.
