G1 Facility Services is seeking an Overnight Maintenance Technician in Orlando to perform routine and emergency repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks across our facilities. The role emphasizes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general upkeep with CMMS-based work order management.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in commercial facility maintenance, understands HVAC components, and communicates effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial facility maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components preferred.
• General maintenance: light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall, painting.
• Familiar with CMMS software for task management.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine repairs on HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Perform drywall repair, framing, painting, and carpentry as needed.

With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome new Overnight Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Team!

Job Summary

Overnight Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance-related tasks, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment. The ideal candidate will be well verse in general commercial maintenance upkeep, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and fixtures.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k

Shift: Third Shift 11:30pm - 8:00am

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment throughout the facility
• Assist with additional electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties
• Drywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and other general repair duties
• Conduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with other team members to provide insights into equipment performance and customer service needs to achieve departmental goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Participation in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge base
• Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol
• Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes
• Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with clients, co-workers, and vendors
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of commercial facility maintenance experience
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components strongly preferred
• Must be well versed in the following general maintenance functions: light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and painting
• Familiar with CMMS software for effectively managing maintenance tasks, strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
