Job summary

G1 Facility Services in Newark, NJ, is seeking Facilities Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and emergency repairs, inspections, and upkeep across client facilities. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in areas such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

CMMS will be used for work orders and inventory. Shifts are 2:00pm–10:30pm or 10:00pm–6:30am, with a compensation range of $23–$32 per hour plus medical, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine repairs on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems.
• Proficient in general maintenance tasks across building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs on HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment throughout the facility
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC duties and assigned
• Drywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and other general repair duties
• Conduct inspections and assessments of facility systems to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions
• Assist with snow removal when necessary, during the winter months.
• Utilize CMMS for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules

Job Summary

Facilities Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance-related tasks, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in general commercial maintenance and upkeep, including the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and fixtures.

Compensation

$23.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on Experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k

Available Shifts

2:00pm - 10:30pm, 10:00pm - 6:30am. Days off to be Determined.
