Qualifications

• Knowledge of charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams
• Able to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and take corrective action
• Able to use a variety of maintenance tools safely
• Able to perform maintenance independently and assist on complex repairs
• Able to perform minor to mid-sized projects from planning to installation
• Able to present options to improve processes
• Able to adapt to change and work without constant supervision
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Read and interpret technical procedures and service manuals
• Support installation of new equipment
• Assist operators with training or troubleshooting
• Complete work orders timely and maintain quality
• Use a variety of tools and meters in performing duties
• Document repairs and complete paperwork per SOPs
• Stay up to date on new products and technologies
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities
• Anticipate parts needs and manage purchasing appropriately
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with regulations
• Follow GMP and food safety requirements
