Job summary

DFA Milk is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. You will work with limited supervision while supporting installation and training activities. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Starting pay is $25.00 hourly with a Monday–Friday 1:00pm–9:00pm schedule and on-call every other weekend. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plus a 401K.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2–4 years in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC in manufacturing.
• Experience with a variety of equipment and basic PLC/HMI knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned/unplanned maintenance on production and packaging equipment per safety procedures.
• Inspect and assess reliability and performance of equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Read electrical schematics and manuals to perform required service.
• Support installation of new equipment and training of operators.
• Document all repairs and complete paperwork per SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes using continuous improvement mindset.
