B&G Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the overnight shift at the Ankeny, Iowa plant. This role leads maintenance staff, coordinates scheduling, and ensures safe, cost-effective operation of facilities, packaging equipment, power, and refrigeration.

The position requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and experience in food packaging. Night shift coverage is 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with focus on maintaining GMP compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

Total 5–7 years of maintenance and engineering experience.
Four years of supervisory experience.
Experience in consumer food products and packaging.
Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance and capital projects at the Ankeny Plant.
Staff and schedule the maintenance department and ensure its effectiveness through training.
Maintain a positive labor relations environment with subordinate personnel.
Analyze production processes and methods.
Recommend and implement changes to improve costs.
Provide monthly summaries to management on maintenance performance and capital updates.
Maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program.
Ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies in own area.
