Job summary

Fluidics Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain building systems in the Philadelphia area. You will respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and support tenant services with attention to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, executing routine repairs, and coordinating with supervisors for materials and reporting.

Qualifications

• > Mechanical trades or trade school training.
• > Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep.
• > Familiarity with building auxiliary systems such as fire-life safety and standby emergency generators.
• > OSHA 10 certification.
• > Ability to follow written and oral instructions and perform arithmetic.
• > Valid driver's license and ability to drive light trucks.
• > Commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
• > Ability to wear respirator and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect building systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair restroom fixtures and clear obstructions.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical circuits and bulbs/ballast replacements.
• Perform carpentry tasks and hardware maintenance.
• Operate sprinkler and alarm systems; test and drain for maintenance.
• Paint equipment and protect surfaces.
• Record inspections and write reports for supervisors.
• Procure materials for repairs as needed.
• Perform additional duties within contractual scope.
