Job summary

EMCOR Services Fluidics is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic in Newtown Square, PA to perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The role includes servicing air handling units, pumps, motors, and heat exchangers, with emphasis on safety and preventive maintenance.

Qualified candidates will have at least five years of hands-on experience in central plant operations, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and will be proficient in brazing, soldering copper pipe,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience operating central plant equipment, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
• Experience & proven ability to repair building electrical, plumbing, and HVAC auxiliary systems.
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Operation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, control systems, air handling units, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and expansion joints.
• Install electrical circuits.
• Repair restroom fixtures and copper/plumbing piping as needed.
• Drain and safely isolate systems to facilitate repairs.
• Perform minor carpentry tasks and replace ceiling tiles and door hardware.
