Job summary

Four Seasons Napa Valley is seeking a Hotel Maintenance/Engineer 1 for an overnight shift. You will diagnose, service, and repair resort equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, and respond to inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, log updates, and energy conservation efforts while maintaining safety and quality standards at a Forbes Five-Star resort in wine country.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in maintenance or related role preferred.
• General building maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
• Diagnose and handle repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and related equipment.
• Respond to service requests for maintenance of rooms and equipment in guest rooms or public areas promptly.
• Respond to emergency conditions such as fires or power failures.
• Maintain organized workspace, department and equipment spaces.
• Install or relocate equipment when necessary, and assist with renovations.
• Assist energy conservation programs within the hotel.
