The Barnett in New Orleans is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform routine and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical issues, respond to guest requests, and ensure timely repairs to uphold guest satisfaction.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus HVAC/electrical/plumbing trade training or hotel maintenance experience.

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks throughout the hotel. This role ensures all guest rooms, public areas, and building systems remain in good working order by completing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and supporting overall property upkeep. The Maintenance Engineer contributes directly to guest satisfaction through timely, efficient, and high-quality maintenance service.
