Job summary

Penske Logistics in Hanover, MD is seeking an Operations Supervisor for overnight coverage (9:00 PM–7:00 AM), Sunday–Thursday with weekend rotation. You will lead hourly staff, oversee driver deliveries, loading/unloading, dispatch, and customer service while controlling costs and schedules.

Prior leadership, strong communication, and a focus on safety and efficiency are essential. Salary ranges from $61,900 to $83,400 plus performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable.
• Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provide counseling and/or recognition.
• Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control.
• Evaluate and recommend changes in work methods to increase productivity.
