Job summary

HelloFresh Delivery Station Supervisor role in Detroit oversees the hub’s sort operations and lead overnight teams of up to 20 Associates, ensuring safe, efficient execution of unloading, sorting and driver dispatch. This role partners with the Logistics Hub Manager to scale operations, communicate delays, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of operations/logistics management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 22 years old and legally authorized to work in the US with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screens (drug, MVR, background, criminal).
• Availability for night shifts (11:30 pm–2 am) with 4-day or 5-day schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Warehouse Associates and contingent workers to meet safety, quality, and performance targets.
• Use HelloFresh tech and systems to support operational decisions and safety.
• Report to the Logistics Hub Manager and communicate delays or issues; prioritize work.
• Conduct team huddles and maintain open communication with staff.
• Perform dispatching tasks for drivers and cover the Logistics Hub Manager on night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Monitor safety, cost, quality, and other agreed indicators.
• Ensure the security of HelloFresh assets (hub facilities, vehicles, inventory).
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture and retention.
• Suggest lean process improvements and implement new procedures.
• Occasionally transport delayed packages and move/maintain vehicles as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned; adapt to business needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other supervisors to coordinate activities.
