Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting skills
• Experience with post-operative and emergency patient care
• Ability to assess patient condition and respond in fast-paced situations

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians during emergency exams, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency surgeries and post-operative care
• Provide emergency nursing care and first aid to injured or recovering patients
• Prepare patients and surgical instruments for procedures
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, including blood pressure, ECG, SpO₂, and EtCO₂
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
• Operate digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately document patient histories and medical records
• Maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment, exam, and lab areas
• Mentor and support fellow technicians and assistants
