Job summary

Temple Women & Families at Temple Health is seeking a Delivery Room Technician (PT; Overnight) to join the obstetric team. The role involves patient care, equipment maintenance, and assisting with delivery room procedures in a busy labor and delivery unit.

Preferred candidates will have 1 year of L&D technician experience, plus background in acute care and OR surgical scrub duties. Trade school surgical tech training is favored or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as Labor & Delivery Technician preferred.
• 1 year experience in a patient care role in an acute care setting preferred.
• 1 year experience in an OR Surgical Scrub role preferred.
• Trade School Surgical Technician Program required or combination of education/experience considered

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and surgical scrub duties in the obstetric department, including organizing environment and maintaining equipment.
• Assists with delivery room procedures to support care, comfort, and safety of patients.
• Performs 1:1 duties on all units and PCA duties on other units as needed.
