Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Labor and Delivery Technician in Philadelphia to perform a variety of patient care and surgical scrub duties within the obstetric department. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting with delivery room procedures, and ensuring patient safety.

The ideal candidate will have a Trade School Surgical Technician Program or relevant experience and will demonstrate the ability to perform patient care responsibilities effectively. 1 year experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade School Surgical Technician Program required or relevant education and experience may be considered.
• 1 year experience as a Labor and Delivery Technician preferred.
• 1 year experience in a patient care role in an acute care setting preferred.
• 1 year experience in an OR Surgical Scrub role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and surgical scrub duties within the obstetric department.
• Maintain equipment and assist with delivery room procedures.
• Provide care, comfort, and safety for patients.
