Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor in Elmhurst, IL to sort, prepare, and accession veterinary samples (blood, urine, feces, biopsies) for testing. This full-time role includes on-site duties and extensive on-the-job training to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You will work in a collaborative lab, follow SOPs, and support teammates to meet turnaround times. Excellent day-one benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior specimen accessioning/processing experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced lab environment.
• Able to follow SOPs and work with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and accession veterinary samples for analysis.
• Enter specimen data into a computer tracking system.
• Rack and bundle prepared samples for delivery to testing departments.
• Assist with specimen storage and ensuring timely Turn Around Times (TAT).
