Job summary

Rythm Health is seeking a Laboratory Associate for its overnight shift to support day-to-day laboratory operations. The required work schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated clinical laboratory environment. This role involves data entry, sample accessioning, and processing in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or related field.
• Comfortable working with computer software, LIS, and clinical lab equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, accession, and track specimens using LIS.
• Verify specimen integrity, labeling, and documentation.
• Aliquot and prepare blood samples per protocols.
• Enter, review, and maintain electronic records.
• Adhere to CLIA/CAP SOPs and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab workspace.
• Communicate specimen status and escalate issues as needed.
• Support additional lab tasks to meet operational needs.
