Rythm Health seeks a Laboratory Associate for overnight shift to support day-to-day operations in a CLIA/CAP-certified lab in Omaha.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or a related field, and be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable using LIS and lab equipment. The role involves data entry, specimen accessioning, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or a related field.
• Comfortable working with LIS and clinical lab equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, accession, and track incoming specimens using LIS.
• Verify specimen integrity, labeling accuracy, and documentation compliance.
• Aliquot and prepare blood samples according to established protocols.
• Enter, review, and maintain accurate electronic laboratory records.
• Adhere to CLIA/CAP-compliant SOPs and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
• Communicate specimen status and elevate issues to Lab Supervisor.
• Support additional laboratory tasks as needed to meet operational demands.
