Job summary

TEL Staffing & HR is seeking a dependable Overnight Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Technician to service client sites in Pensacola, FL. You will deep clean kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and ventilation areas in restaurants and other foodservice facilities, following safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires the ability to work independently or in a team, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and steam cleaners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in commercial kitchen cleaning preferred but not required.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean commercial kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, hoods, and exhaust systems.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, ceilings, and food preparation areas.
• Remove grease buildup using cleaning products and equipment.
• Operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning tools.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines.
• Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Complete cleaning logs and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Load, unload, and transport cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow company procedures, food safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working at client locations.
