Grapevine MSP Technology Services is seeking an Overnight IT Support Technician to serve as the primary on-site contact during our midnight shifts in Bakersfield, CA. This role focuses on uptime, security, and proactive incident handling, not just ticket taking.

You will monitor systems, apply updates, assist clients, and provide clear communications while maintaining high service standards in a high-responsibility overnight setting.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of IT support experience (MSP preferred).
• Strong Windows operating system experience and Active Directory skills.
• Understand Group Policy, network fundamentals and security best practices.
• Good troubleshooting, prioritization, and independent work ability.
• Professional communication with a customer-first approach.

Aufgaben

• Monitor servers, workstations, backups and network infrastructure for uptime.
• Respond to alerts, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Provide Windows-based support, manage user accounts, and remote assistance.
• Apply scheduled updates, patching, and maintain endpoint security.
• Log incidents, perform root-cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Provide thorough shift handoffs and keep day team informed.
