Job summary

Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Operations & Security Support Technician to work full‑time in our Downtown Los Angeles headquarters. The role delivers Tier 1–3 end‑user device support and serves as a key contact for technical assistance with the Help Desk and Infrastructure IT teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring enterprise systems in a 24/7 environment, triaging incidents, and supporting overnight Security and Facilities operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• At least 4 years’ IT support experience in NOC/Service Desk/Desktop/Infrastructure.
• Experience monitoring enterprise systems, networks, and endpoints required.
• IT ticketing systems experience and escalation procedures preferred.
• Overnight shift availability (9pm–5am) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-user device support across the organization.
• Provide Tier 1–3 technical assistance in collaboration with Help Desk and IT teams.
• Monitor enterprise IT systems, networks, and applications in a 24/7 environment.
• Respond to critical alerts, triage incidents, and escalate as needed.
• Support overnight Security and Facilities operations, troubleshooting access issues.
• Record incidents, document steps, and communicate with stakeholders.
