Job summary

Target in Levittown, NY is hiring for an Overnight Inbound (Stocking) Expert. Starting hourly rate is $18.00 per hour, with a temporary $1 shift differential on eligible overnight hours; effective 9/20/26 through 1/2/2027.

Role involves stocking, sorting, inventory support, and guest assistance across GM areas. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and service, with potential to back up cashiers and support Drive Up/Order Pickup.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of lifting/moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute sorting operations accurately and efficiently.
• Stock, organize, and store reserve merchandise; straighten on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability for GM categories on the sales floor.
• Operate equipment as needed to unload freight and move merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items per regulations.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive Up.
• Create a welcoming experience for guests and assist with their needs.
