Job summary

Target in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Inbound Expert to support a fast-paced General Merchandise environment. You will welcome guests, assist with finding products, stock shelves, and help ensure accurate pricing and availability on the sales floor.

You’ll work with teammates to deliver an easy, friendly shopping experience, handle guest questions quickly, and support additional guest services such as order pickup and Drive Up. Training is provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet: 10ft - be friendly; smile, eye contact or wave.
• Greet: 4ft - greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the GM categories; operate powered equipment if certified.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate ethics, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive Up.
• All other duties based on business needs.
