Job summary

Target is seeking an Inbound Expert to support a fast-paced, guest‑centered shopping experience. You will assist guests, keep shelves stocked, and collaborate with teammates to meet store priorities.

Training will cover safety, equipment use, and customer engagement, with flexible hours including nights and weekends. The role emphasizes accurate merchandising, friendly service, and adherence to policy while maintaining a positive store environment in a large General Merchandise area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft with a friendly, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for General Merchandise categories.
• Operate powered equipment if certified and unload freight or move merchandise.
• Demonstrate safety, compliance and ethics in daily operations.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and drive up while following relevant laws.
