Job summary

FirstLink is seeking Overnight Helpline Specialists to support individuals via phone, text, or online chat, de-escalate crises, and refer to local resources. You will engage with callers across the 988 Lifeline, 211, and regional crisis lines.

The Overnight shift is 12AM-8AM and part of the holiday rotation, with two consecutive days off between Monday and Thursday after training. Training is provided to ensure readiness to help others daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in crisis intervention or customer service.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to read, write, and follow oral or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals via phone, text, or online chat.
• De-escalate emotional and mental health crises and refer to local resources.
• Engage with help-seekers across the 988 Lifeline, 211 Information & Referral, and regional crisis lines.
• Attend training and adhere to scheduling requirements during training period.
