PetVet Care Centers’ Pacific & Santa Cruz Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Overnight ICU Veterinary Assistant to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital in Santa Cruz County.

You will work with our ICU team caring for hospitalized patients overnight, assisting veterinarians and technicians, and ensuring continued high-quality care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and is dedicated to animal welfare.

Qualifikationen

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous veterinary experience is a must.

Aufgaben

• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized pets.
• Greet patients and owners and take vitals on arrival.
• Triage, treat, and assist with procedures under supervision.
• Monitor patient status and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
• Restrain and assist doctors with medications and procedures.
• Maintain medical records and documentation.
