Job summary

The ICU Technician at CVSS in Annapolis, MD promotes a professional, patient-focused environment and supports surgeons with care of postoperative and critical surgical patients in the ICU. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience as a veterinary technician.
• RVT preferred, however strong ICU experience will be considered.

• Demonstrated excellence in nursing care and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently in a high-intensity environment.

Responsibilities

• The ICU Technician delivers care for postoperative and critical surgical patients in the ICU.
• Assist surgeons and collaborate with CVSS team to ensure patient care quality.
• Monitor patient status, administer IV medications and fluids, and manage nursing tasks.
• Maintain calm, efficient performance in high-stress situations.
