Job summary

Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking an Overnight ER & ICU Technician for our Webster satellite. You will provide life-saving care for emergency patients and support anesthesia, surgery, and admissions.

Work 3 x 13-hour nights (7pm–8am), Sundays through Saturdays, with alternating weekends/holidays. Licensed Veterinary Technicians or experienced ER/ICU/Surgery & Anesthesia personnel are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years ER/ICU/Surgery/Anesthesia experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to hospitalized and emergency patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, lab work, and medication administration.
• Prepare and administer treatments per orders and protocols.
• Support cross-department collaboration and communication with clients.
