PetVet Care Centers’ Pacific & Santa Cruz Veterinary Specialists in Santa Cruz, California is seeking an Overnight ICU Veterinary Assistant to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Hospital. You will support the ICU team by assisting with patient care, medications, monitoring, and procedures, while helping provide compassionate, attentive care to hospitalized pets throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Previous veterinary experience is a must.
• TPR, History, Animal Husbandry and math comfort are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized pets during overnight hours.
• Greet, assess, and assist with patient care under supervision.
• Support doctors and technicians with medications and procedures.
• Monitor patient status and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and proper record-keeping.
