Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance on the hotel’s physical infrastructure. You will use hand and power tools to keep the property in excellent condition, including the hotel, pool, and surrounding areas.

You will handle painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, notify management for major repairs, and respond to guest service requests while keeping accurate records. Shift: evenings; full-time position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of repair/maintenance experience required.
• Technical licenses such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on hotel infrastructure using hand and power tools.
• Maintain hotel, pool and surrounding areas; minor/ routine painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks.
• Notify management for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.
• Respond to guest service requests and keep records of rooms completed.
• Program phone equipment according to hotel needs.
• Observe equipment and utility meter readings daily.
• Stay accessible to Front Desk and Chief Engineer.
• Maintain MSDS files and ensure par stocking of regularly used parts.
