Job summary

BBL Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor for Hilton Garden Inn Albany in Albany, NY. The role is part-time with an overnight shift and hourly wages of $18.00–$20.00. Night audit duties include internal controls, guest service, and POS reconciliation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong math and reasoning skills, and the ability to handle difficult guest situations. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent math and reasoning skills.
• Must be able to deal with intoxicated guests.
• Physical requirements include standing, speaking, hearing, reading, writing, able to carry between 30-40 lbs., walking, lifting and carrying, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, bending and able to walk stairs.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in to the hotel promptly and courteously using up selling techniques; prepare for group check-in and VIP arrivals.
• Check guests out and process payments according to policies.
• Respond to guest requests promptly; promote hotel services and local attractions to enhance satisfaction.
• Resolve minor guest complaints and inform supervisor of major issues.
• Book guest reservations or coordinate with the reservation center.
• Handle departmental accounting; post charges; complete cashier’s report and deposits.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
• Reconcile POS areas and all cash/credit activities; perform night audit in the PMS.
