Job summary

Horn Memorial Hospital is hiring for a full-time Patient Access Representative with an overnight schedule (11pm–7am), Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts and holiday rotation. A comprehensive benefit package accompanies a competitive salary.

The role includes admitting patients, collecting insurance and demographic information, and directing callers from the hospital switchboard. Background and health assessments are required prior to hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical setting preferred. Must have good computer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to all levels of care in the facility, including inpatients and outpatients.
• Captures all insurance and patient demographic information for a complete registration.
• Answers telephone at hospital switchboard and directs patients as needed.
• Stationed out of the Emergency Department.
