Job summary

Oregon Health Authority in Salem seeks a Facility Maintenance Specialist to perform routine and emergency repairs across the hospital, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, glass replacement and general upkeep to keep facilities safe and functional.

Schedule: overnight, Monday–Thursday, 9pm–7am. Minimum qualifications include two years of related maintenance trades or a journeyman license; license may substitute for experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of general building maintenance, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, or plastering experience.
• Journeyman's license/card in any of the above trades will substitute for this experience; include copy with application.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency maintenance repairs to all areas of the hospital.
• Perform tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, glass replacement, and general upkeep.
• Install items to walls (bulletin boards, cabinets, dispensers) and repair doors, locks, and hardware.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and assist during emergencies with hospital staff.
