Qualifications
- Valid LPN license and IV certification.
- Valid ID.
- Experience in hospice, home health, or overnight nursing preferred.
- Compassionate bedside manner and dedication to patient dignity.
- Professional development, including organizational and state-required training.
- Florida Clearinghouse Background Check - HB531.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate overnight hospice and end-of-life nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition overnight.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient status and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Support patient comfort, pain management, and emotional well-being.
- Assist families with overnight support and reassurance.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes.
- Create a calm, safe overnight environment for hospice clients.
