BrightStar Care of Fort Wayne is seeking a PRN/On-Call Home Health Aide for the 3rd shift (overnight). The role offers flexible scheduling, with 8:00 PM–8:00 AM shifts and a requirement of at least 8 on-call days per month.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, and following care plans. The position pays base $18–$20 per hour with on-call bonuses, and includes benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (home health preferred).
• Must have open evening availability (8p–8a).
• Must commit to at least 8 on-call days (2 days/week).
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid auto insurance.
• Must be okay with traveling to client homes in the service area.
• Compassion, reliability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Follow care plans and maintain documentation.
