Job summary

WW Clyde in Arizona seeks a Heavy Haul Equipment Transport Driver responsible for moving oversized and overweight equipment across the valley and at construction sites statewide. Duties include loading and securing loads, reviewing permits, performing pre- and post-trip checks, complying with DOT rules, and performing basic maintenance on equipment.

Requires 18+, valid Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Hazmat, Tanker endorsements, a DOT Medical Card, ability to travel overnight, and strong

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain endorsements.
Valid DOT Medical Certificate is required.
Knowledge of oversized/overweight hauling rules across multiple jurisdictions.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Overnight travel may be required.
Basic computer skills (Email, Smartphone, Excel).

Responsibilities

Load, secure, and unload oversized/overweight equipment with proper restraints.
Review permits and route considerations before travel and ensure compliance with safety provisions.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain the vehicle and trailer.
Comply with DOT and local regulations and safety standards.
Document loads and report any equipment issues; perform minor maintenance as directed.
Operate hydraulic trailer safely and adhere to weight and size limits.
