Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver a five-star welcome and departure experience. You will greet guests, provide information about the resort, and offer upscale amenities.

You will settle accounts at checkout, resolve issues, and coordinate with Concierge, Bell/Door, and Ideal Services teams. Responsibilities include processing check-ins/outs, recording guest preferences, blocking rooms, and communicating guest needs to relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Clear and pleasant English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Omni's Moments of Service and SOPs.
• Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses.
• Set up accurate guest accounts according to preferences (room type, payment, etc.).
• Block rooms in the computer and follow through on requirements.
• Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to departments (special requests, deliveries).
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
• Ensure security of guest room access and proper folio settlements.
• Maintain guest history files and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Document guest requests or problems and follow up for guest satisfaction.
